These works explore feelings of entrapment and isolation experienced by the suburban dweller who stifles longings to be �somewhere else�. Imagine, that by just looking out of the window you can see your �somewhere else�.
The paintings are mostly painted in acrylics on stretched canvas . The style is a modifed Trompe L�Oeil (illusions of the eye). You are meant to view the paintings as though looking through the window. The Genre is na�ve.
