A small solo exhibition
IWD Drinkies 3 -5pm, 8th March
These works explore a most wonderful period of time in many women's lives. Post menapause; most joints still working; Everything a bit lower than it used to be and more of it, but more or less functioning; children up and away; only the grandkids to worry about and they can be given back. This is a time when women can be themselves. They can cavort if they want to.
A SINGING Auction
of unsold works 3pm Sunday 14th March
Wine and Cheese
marked down special reserve prices

IWD Drinkies The photos of the 8th March IWD Drinkies. I decided not to have an official opening but rather wait until International Women's Day and have an event. Between 50 and 100 people wandered through the exhibition in the 2 hours (3 -5pm) advertised as the Drinkies time. At 4pm a very special visitor appeared to provide some entertainment - 'Crystal Rose' a burlesque dancer. |
