portraits

I love doing portraits. I usually have one on the go at any time. If not, I’m thinking about one or stressing because I haven’t got one in front of me. I almost live with the painting until its finished. I tend to paint them in the kitchen/living room where I can keep an eye on them. Other stuff can happen elsewhere but not the portraits!

I have entered portraits in most of the well-known competitions. I paint on commission. And I’m always trying to organise my next one.

I have had 2 exhibitions of portraits; one as part of my simultaneous first exhibition in 2008 and a second in 2017. See links here:
